Passion & Honey is a stroll down memory lane; where kids are playing double-dutch jump rope in the streets, and experiencing their first love and first heartbreak. Manson brings his unique brand of playful and imaginative performance work to his revised production.

Passion & Honey features Candace Lawson, Leon Matthews and Ronnie Williams as they share their experiences of love sought, gained, lost and lament about Martin Luther King Jr.’s death, a beloved relative, and inter-racial relationships.

Passion & Honey offers itself as a play about the black experience. More importantly, Passion & Honey is about the human experience, ” said Brian Stuart, (free-lance writer) for the SAN DIEGO UNION
